  • One Day in the Westbank.

    Our Journey started at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem
    by taking the Bus to Ramallah at 8 in the morning.
  • After having a Coffee in Ramallah
    we took a Taxi into the North direction Nablus.
  • Into the Nothing.
    ..40 Minutes on small Roads through a hilly and rocky Landscape.
  • There is this one palestinian Village
    arguing with israeli Settlers over a Spring since 2009.
    Every week the Villagers start a Riot with the IDF´s (Israel Defense Force).
  • The Minaret calling for Noon Prayer.
    Slowly People started to gather in the City-Center. Kids playing Games.
  • Flag of Fatah.
  • More and more Villager came together.
    Kids holding Signs showing Faces of their arrested Fathers.
    Nabi Saleh Population is around 500. More than half of them been to Prison for throwing Rocks.

  • ..the Protesters started to move carrying a gold-framed Picture
    of Mustafa Tamimi who died just some Weeks ago.
  • Small Kids and old Men: the whole Village dressed up to fight.
  • Down there you can see the Spring protected by 2 IDF military Jeeps.
    This is where the Protesters try to get.
  • Every week the same.
    IDF just waiting to defend.
  • Just an other Portrait (Fatah-Flag).
  • Since the Road was blocked by a Water-Canon and Soldiers
    the Protesters went upcountry down the Hills.
    The IDF started shooting Tear-Gas to keep the Villagers on distance.
  • The Gas-Fumes were slowly crawling over the Hills.
    The only ones wearing Gas-Masks were Soldiers, Press and 2 Medics.
  • Clouds.
  • True to the Game.
  • The Water-Canon in action.
    The Water is enhanced with some kind of butanoic acid. The smell was incredible.
    You DO NOT want to get hit by it.
